I'm sorry friends, I do not feel very creative today and the horrific news and the intense worry I felt (although briefly) for a few friends and family members has made me not want to write today's Griction.
I had already considered this for my Griction finale, so I think I'll just go with it and see what happens. Typically, I punch these things out on MS Word so that I can proofread and whatnot...but I'm just going to do this in the Blogger UI to make sure the raw emotion is captured in the moment.

As much as this week was about Grindo, it was about Insane Horde Posse. The entire team was on my mind the entire time I was making up goofy ass content. No one reads this blog unless I direct them this way. The random ramblings of my silly mind are of little concern to anyone in this world and the content is not riveting enough to develop a following of readers that feed the desire to write for an audience. I do it anyway. This week was for my raid team's entertainment. Those of you who took the time out of your day, I hope you enjoyed the silliness that was going on over here inside the AoE.
I don't remember when I joined Insane Horde Posse. I know it was some time after I decided that having a new baby and being a Guild Master was too rough to juggle when raiding nightly. The team fit my schedule very well and wound up being a mixture of personalities that was something I came to cherish. The team became like family to me.
Family is a word that has been redefined in this Internet Age. We (of course) have people we are related to in real life, but the advent of social media has caused the world to become a much smaller place where we can identify with groups of people and interact with them on a regular basis. I have raided with Insane Horde Posse (henceforth named IHP, if applicable) for over two years. It's hard to believe that when I think about it, but it's true. The team is no longer composed of the same individuals but that does not change anything. IHP has a special place in my heart and I care about each and every person that comes into our "pack" as if they were our brothers and sisters. We depart each other's company each week and go back to our daily lives, but convene again to play this game every Tuesday night...yet the team communication throughout the week is active and jovial. This is a good group of people and I'm proud to belong to it. Proud? Honored is more like it.
The integration of Twitter into the lives of several team members, the ability to chat on Steam, and the way the communication on the forum has accelerated make me feel closer to IHP than I ever have before....
So here's to you IHP...this week was as much about you as it was about Grindo (<3 <3). I'm glad that our team members in the Colorado area are safe, my thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.
Until next time IHP.......SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY.
I couldn't agree more. IHP is a really special thing we all have. Glad you are a part of it Suhli!
